Problems we help with

Victims of crime financial assistance

We can help you apply for financial assistance after family or sexual violence

We can support you to:

  • Understand the financial assistance options available to you after family and sexual violence.
  • Prepare and make an application to the Financial Assistance Scheme.
  • Get support that focuses on your safety, stability and recovery.

How we can help

If you are a victim‑survivor of family or sexual violence, you can get financial assistance in Victoria under the Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS).

Financial assistance can help you change the locks on your home, access counselling, secure stable housing, or support your children’s needs as you recover.

Our lawyers can help you apply for financial assistance. They listen to you, answer your questions, and help you make decisions that feel right and safe.

Our social workers and financial counsellors are available for further support.

Our focus is helping you move forward safely.
